Pope Francis appointed a temporary administrator to manage the Catholic Church on the island last week following earlier allegations of abuse.

Another former altar boy, Roland Sondia, has come forward to accuse Archbishop Anthony Apuron of abuse.

During a media conference reported on the Pacific News Center website, the 54 year old said he was propositioned and molested by the Archbishop in 1977.

In the past month two other former altar boys have alleged they were molested by Archbishop Apuron, while another says he was raped by him.

The Archbishop strongly denied the earlier molestation allegations.

But the temporary administrator, Archbishop Savio Hon Tai Fai said the church was taking the latest allegation seriously and said it would be presented to its governing body.

Archbishop Hon said he is praying for all concerned, without prejudice to the alleged victim and the accused.
