Fiji's Opposition whip Ratu Isoa Tikoca says Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum should resign from Parliament after what he described as a racist slur against indigenous Fijians.
Ratu Isoa says Mr Sayed-Khaiyum's ape-like gesture in the House last week was tantamount to a racial taunt and he says the acting Prime Minister has breached parliamentary rules and the constitution.
Ratu Isoa says the Attorney-General's body language was aggressive and patronising and he says his excuse that he was posing as the Star Wars character Darth Vader was "fluffy".
The Opposition member says as the state's chief legal advisor Mr Sayed-Khaiyum should know mimicry, drama and theatrics are not suited to the floor of Parliament.
