Guam welcome Asian giants Iran to Dedeo this evening as they battle to keep their Football World Cup qualifying hopes alive.
The Matao lost 1-0 in India last week and have failed to score in four successive qualifying games, including a 6-0 defeat in Tehran two months ago.
Head coach Gary White says they actually dominated the match in Bangalore but execution has been letting them down.
"Because you work on everything with your coaching staff in getting players in positions to score goals and then it's up to them to do it - you can't go on the field and do it for them. In the past couple of games we haven't had that much opportunities within the attacking third - a lot of our goals and goal-scoring opportunities have come from set-plays and mistakes from them but in this game [against India] it was really well executed build-up play and there's just not the end product that's required and it's extremely disappointing because the simple task is not being executed and difficult part is and it's very frustrating but the players are still naive at this level so it's something they have to learn".
Iran beat Turkmenistan 3-1 to go top of the group and put themselves in pole position to advance to the next round.

The Matao are four points adrift in fourth place, having played one extra game, but are unbeaten on home soil where they've recorded two wins and a draw.

Coach Gary White is under no illusion about the challenge facing his players but is hopeful they can get their campaign back on track.
"We're looking forward to it and now it's the job of the coaching staff and myself to get the players back up for that game. It's a great opportunity for the local people of Guam to see a top-class elite national team, that's been to many World Cups, on their doorstep and my players will be motivated and we will put up a challenge and see if we can sneak something".
The top team in each group and four best runners-up advance to the next qualifying round and also qualify for the 2019 Asian Cup.
