Guam's hopes of progressing to the next stage of Football World Cup qualifying have been dealt a blow after losing 1-0 in Turkmenistan.
Guvanch Abylov scored the only goal of the match in Ashgabat in the 16th minute.
Oman beat India 3-0 to go outright top in Group D with 11 points, three clear of Iran, with Guam a further point behind.
After winning their first two qualifying matches in June, the Matao have now managed just one point and failed to score in their last three matches.
Their next qualifying match is away to India next month.
