The Fiji Prime Minister has appointed new ministers, following the resignation of Pio Tikoduadua due to ill health.
Frank Bainimarama has appointed Parveen Bala to the vacated Infrastructure and Transport Ministry, and Vijay Nath as his assistant minister.
Mr Nath is replaced in the education ministry by the incoming MP Jilila Kumar, a former vice principal.
The Assistant Minister for Tourism, Lorna Eden, is the new Assistant Minister for Local Government, Housing and Environment, replacing Parveen Bala. She will not be replaced in the tourism portfolio.
