The murder-suicide of a police officer and his girlfriend in the Northern Marianas is the second similar incident in two years.
That's acording to the commissioner of the Department of Public Safety James Deleon Guerrero.
In the latest incident Christopher Santos shot and killed Joanna Vitug with his service gun inside a law office in Garapan before taking his own life.
In January last year another police officer Josef Deleon Guerrero fatally shot himself after shooting his girlfriend who survived.
