Auckland City football coach Ramon Tribulietx says the inaugural Oceania President's Cup in November offers his team a rare opportunity ahead of their FIFA Club World Cup campaign in Morocco.
The O-League title winners meet Morocco champions Moghreb Tétouan in December in the Club World Cup playoff and Tribulietx says the President's Cup gives them an ideal build-up with three very good games against different styles of play.
Joining Auckland City in the six team tournament are Busaiteen of Bahrain, Bodden Town of the Cayman Islands, Singapore's U-23 team, the World Cup bound Fiji U-20s and familiar rivals Amicale FC from Vanuatu.
Ramon Tribulietx says playing teams from the other side of the world will be a good technical and tactical experience for his team.
