Sport: Do or die territory for PNG cricketers

Papua New Guinea say every match is now a must win at the Cricket World Cup qualifying tournament in New Zealand.

The Barramundi's were thrashed by 150 runs in their first Super Six clash against the United Arab Emirates on Sunday.

Assistant coach Rarua Dikana says their batting let them down in that match and now every game is like a final.

"It's a must-win situation now for the last two games. We're playing Scotland today, they won their match against Namibia so they're coming off a good performance from their first game. We're pretty much trying to take it game by game so Scotland is today and we're just focusing on playing well today and the result will take care of itself.

PNG are still second on the Super Six standings, which would be enough to qualify if they can win their remaining matches.
