Samoa judiciary commission appoints another woman judge

Samoa's judiciary commission has appointed six new judges including another woman to the Lands and Titles court.

The newly appointed woman judge, Su'a Magele Nua Su'a has joined two other women on the same court.

Su'a resided in New Zealand for many years but she has now moved to Samoa to take up her new judiciary role.

Speaking at the swearing in ceremony the chief justice Patu Falefatu Sapolu urged the new judges to uphold their oath.
