Fiji prophecy pair to re-appear today

The two men at the centre of a failed prophecy that caused disruptions throughout Fiji on Wednesday will reappear at the Suva Magistrates Court today.

The Fiji Rugby Union board chairman Bill Gavoka and Pastor Laione Lutumaimuri Nacevamaca were released on bail with surety yesterday.

The Fiji Broadcasting cororation reports the two have been charged with one count each of malicious act under Section 15 of the Public Order Act.

Pastor Lutumaimuri Nacevamaca prophesied and sent emails that a disaster would strike Fiji at 2.30pm on Wednesday the 23rd.

Gavoka sent an email to tourism stakeholders urging them to take the prophecy seriously.
