The airline is paying for the renovations which are being done by Betham Technology Inc.

An airline official said the reservations area is being rearranged to allow for more staff to service customers and new décor added.

The office space will also be moved around for maximum use of space.

The renovations which began two weeks ago should be completed by the end of the month.

Polynesian is using the former SPEX office for the time being.

There were earlier reports that Hawaiian Air would be moving into the old SPEX office however an airport official said that Inter Island Air also wants the space.

The offices have not been used since SPEX closed in September of last year.
