The governor of the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas has signed a new bill into law setting out zoning requirements.
The Governor, Benigno Fitial, says by establishing a stable pattern of land development on Saipan, the zoning law will assure developers and homeowners that their investments and neighborhoods will be protected.
The Saipan Tribune says the new law comes into force on February the 1st.
