Most New Zealanders know - at this time of year - when you get a break in the weather, you take advantage of it.

RNZ Concert host Bryan Crump wasn't mucking around between isobars. When the skies cleared he was off with his recording device to capture a Moment of Calm that was a moment of calm between a northerly blow and a southerly one.

It wasn't completely calm, but sunny enough to appreciate the sights and sounds of a leisurely stroll in the bush, which ends at a bridge over a stream, babbling away nicely thanks to recent rain.
