The second of Samuel Holloway’s pieces called Dualities.
The first was written for Johnny Chang in 2006 and this one was written six years later for Mark Menzies. And again, two aspects of performance conflict with each other and coalesce – in this case, it’s the actions of the two hands: the right hand on the bow and the left on the fingerboard.
