American contemporary composer Morten Lauridsen's Lux Aeterna has five movements which are all settings of sacred texts which refer to light.

The central movement is 'O Nata Lux':

O light born of light,
Jesus redeemer of the world,
Gently consider your suppliants'
Praises and prayers which they offer.
