The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, with principal horn Samuel Jacobs and conductor Edo de Waart play Mozart’s bright and infectiously cheerful 'Horn Concerto No 4'.
MOZART: Horn Concerto No 4 - Samuel Jacobs (horn), New Zealand Symphony Orchestra conducted by Edo de Waart
Mozart described this Horn Concerto as ‘a hunting horn concerto for Leutgeb’, and the playful nature of the work can even be seen in the different colours Mozart used when writing the manuscript.
