Skyline is the first movement of Jennifer Higdon’s work City Scape.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning composer wanted to express the profile of Atlanta city — through the steel buildings and monuments that define her hometown’s skyline.

Skyline presents an image of boldness, strength and growth, and seems to be a fitting way of concluding Auckland Philharmonia's suffrage celebrations.
