This episode of Music Alive features the performances from two concerts:

A piano recital by Joong Han Jung, recorded in May 2018 at the University of Auckland, and

Passio – English Renaissance composer Richard Davy's "Passio Domini Nostri Jesu Christe" as conceived by Jack Body and elaborated by him and fellow New Zealand composers Gillian Whitehead, Ross Harris, Lissa Meridan, David Farquhar, and Michael Norris, as performed at the 2017 Auckland Arts Festival.

 

 

English Renaissance composer Richard Davy's "Passio Domini Nostri Jesu Christe" as conceived by Jack Body and elaborated by him and fellow New Zealand composers Gillian Whitehead, Ross Harris, Lissa Meridan, David Farquhar, and Michael Norris.

Performed by singers Lachlan Craig (The Evangelist), Joel Amosa (Christus), and Madeleine Pierard (Spiritus) with Voices New Zealand Chamber Choir, and an expanded Auckland Chamber Orchestra.
