Australian pianist Andrea Lam is the Auckland Philharmonia's guest for this concert from its Great Classics Series 2018.

Andrea was born in Sydney and now lives in New York, where she studied at the Manhattan School of Music. She also studied at Yale University. She won the ABC’s Younger Performer of the Year, and she’s been a semi-finalist in the famous and prestigious Van Cliburn Piano Completion.

In this concert she plays Mozart's Piano Concerto No 17 in G, K435.

The other works on the programme are Rossini's Thieving Magpie Overture and Brahms's Fourth Symphony.
