The Hawke's Bay Regional Council is reviewing a plan to stop the discharge of sediment from the Waihi Dam into the Waiau River near Wairoa.
It's been three months since sediment started pouring into the Waiau River, but Hawke's Bay Regional Council hopes it will only be another two weeks before the issue is solved.
