Everything you need to know about the upcoming NZ General Election and two referendums, from the team behind The Citizen's Handbook.

This is a binding referendum. If the New Zealand public votes in favour of the End of Life Choice Act 2019, the act will come into force 12 months after the date the final votes are announced. So what does the Act propose? There is, undeniably, a fine line between suicide and euthanasia. Mistakes will be made. Are those mistakes worth the reduction in suffering endured by people with painful terminal illnesses? This is difficult! But we’ve made a commitment to our audience to sort through the information, and come to a conclusion.

Robbie Nicol and Finn Teppett have returned ahead of the 2020 New Zealand General Election to not only break down how to vote, but to provide background and knowledge on the two referendums so everyone in New Zealand understands what they are voting on.
