Religious police in Saudi Arabia have arrested 143 people for celebrating Valentines Day.
The Organisation for Promoting Virtue and Discouraging Evil says arrests are continuing and officers have punished those caught so far.
The BBC reports that all red roses have been confiscated from shops.
