Major internet companies in the United States are watching for fallout from the arrest of German internet baron Kim Dotcom in Auckland on Friday.
Kim Dotcom, 37, the founder of the file sharing website, Megaupload, and three colleagues are charged with money launderering, racketeering and copyright piracy.
A "Free Kim Dotcom" campaign has begun on Facebook and a spam attack is targeting several websites in the US, including that of the Motion Picture Association of America.
