Victorian police have launched a homicide investigation after a 53-year-old mother, reportedly from New Zealand, was found dead in her home in Melbourne.
Police say she suffered multiple stab wounds.
The woman worked as a cleaner at a nearby plaza and lived with her teenage daughter.
Neighbours described the home as the scene of frequent arguments. They say they were startled by screams this time and saw a van speeding down the street.
