Tunisia's moderate Islamist party Ennahda has claimed victory in the country's first democratic elections.
Early indications are that Ennahda has won the most votes in the poll but not an overall majority.
Its main rival, the secular centre-left PDP party, has admitted defeat, the BBC reports.
The vote was the first free election in the Arab world since the start of the Arab Spring uprisings.
Ennahda has pledged to create a multi-party, secular democracy.
International observers have praised the conduct of the election as free and fair.
