At least 16 people are believed to have been killed in an explosion at a mine in eastern Ukraine.
The Interfax news agency reports the explosion at the mine in Lugansk happened just before 2am local time.
Ten people remain unaccounted for and two miners have been taken to hospital.
The mine, Sukhodilska-Eastern, has been in operation since 1980.
Last month, a fire occurred at the mine but no one was hurt.
