American television host Oprah Winfrey has presented the last ever edition of her chat show after more than 25 years on air.
The billionaire and philanthropist, widely regarded as one of the world's most influential women, plans to focus on running her own television network.
Many of her celebrity friends appeared in the emotional two-part farewell, including Madonna, Aretha Franklin, Tom Cruise, Stevie Wonder and Tom Hanks.
In the final episode of Oprah, she thanked the viewers for sharing what she described as her yellow brick road of blessings.
"This last hour is really about me saying 'thank you'. It is my love letter to you."
Winfrey says her show had helped her connect with viewers all around the world.
In January, the 57-year-old launched her own TV network, which will offer round-the-clock lifestyle programmes, the BBC reports.
