Myanmar's freed pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi says she is ready for talks "with all groups" to achieve national reconciliation.
A day after her release from house arrest, Ms Suu Kyi said she intended to listen to what the people of Myanmar, formerly Burma, and her international supporters wanted as she planned her next steps.
Asked how she would attempt reconciliation with the military government, she said they would have to "sort out our differences across the table".
Ms Suu Kyi said there were "many, many questions" about the fairness of last week's election and that her National League for Democracy party was investigating allegations of vote-rigging and fraud.
The biggest military-backed party, the Union Solidarity and Development Party won the 7 November election, widely condemned as a sham.
The Nobel Peace Prize winner has spent 15 of the past 21 years in home detention because of her opposition to 48 years of military rule.
