Australian police say alleged gunman Dezi Freeman is still in possession of "multiple, powerful firearms" from the scene of a fatal police shooting.
Freeman allegedly shot and killed two police officers and injured a third, at his property in rural Victoria's Porepunkah on Tuesday.
The two killed officers were a 59-year-old detective and a 35-year-old Senior Constable, and they both died at the scene.
A manhunt has been underway since.
"We believe he has long arms, powerful firearms, multiple firearms," Victoria's Police Commissioner Mike Bush said.
"We haven't recovered any of his firearms from the scene. So we believe the firearms he used, he is still in possession of."

When asked if Freeman took a police officer's gun, the commissioner, who was also the former Commissioner of NZ police, said he wasn't "going into anything at the moment".
"The crime scene is still under search and investigation," he said.
Freeman - a local man in his 50s - identified himself as a "sovereign citizen", according to ABC.
His partner and two children attended a police station on Tuesday evening, and police said there was "nothing to suggest they were ever in the company of the suspect" following the incident.
The ABC confirmed police were executing a warrant for historical sex offences at a property near Porepunkah when the shooting began.
Bush said police had an existing profile on Freeman before Tuesday, but wouldn't go into more detail.
"We have not had any confirmed sightings of him at the moment," he said.
Asked about Freeman's capabilities, Bush said "anything's possible".
"He knows that area. Even though we have experts in the area, he will know that area better than us, so we're putting in every expert, and supported by local knowledge as well."
Asked whether it was possible Freeman had set traps, Commissioner Bush yet again said "anything's possible" and that officers were "well briefed to be on the lookout".
