NRL board members have backed the penalties imposed on the Melbourne Storm following breaches of the salary cap.
On Thursday, NRL chief executive David Gallop stripped the club of two premierships and three minor premierships and wiped out all points for this season.
The storm was also ordered to return $A1.1 million in prize money and fined $A500,000, after exceeding the cap by $A1.7 million over a five-year period.
The six-member board held a telephone conference on Saturday to discuss the decision.
The ABC reports all six members gave supported the ruling.
Meanwhile, the disgraced Melbourne Storm swamped the Warriors on Sunday, fighting their way to a 40-0 win in their NRL match in Melbourne.
It was their first game since the club's salary cap rort was exposed.
