American actor John Forsythe, the former Dynasty star, has died at the age of 92.
The actor died late on Thursday from complications of pneumonia following a year-long battle with cancer.
During his acting career, which began in the 1940s, he appeared in the Alfred Hitchcock films The Trouble With Harry and Topaz.
But it was for his 1980s role as oil tycoon Blake Carrington in the popular American soap Dynasty that Forsythe was best known.
He was the voice of Charlie in the TV show Charlie's Angels (1976-81) - a role he reprised in two feature film followups.
