India takes aim at Glasgow's facilities

India's chef de mission, Raj Singh, has reportedly criticised the food, space, bathrooms and TV sets in Glasgow as being far inferior to Delhi.

Commonwealth Games organisers have rejected those complaints from India.

Delhi came in for heavy criticism when it held the event four years ago for poor hygiene and conditions at the athletes' village, which New Zealand described as uninhabitable.

However, Commonwealth Games Federation chief executive Mike Hooper said he's very pleased with the village and has had no direct complaints.

He says it's inappropriate to compare the Delhi games with Glasgow.
