One of the former members of Abba says the group is mulling a possible reunion next year.
Singer Agnetha Faltskog has told a German newspaper there is a possibility they could reunite to mark their 40th anniversary of their first hit Waterloo, which won them the Eurovision song contest and catapulted them to fame.
The group followed this with a string of number one hits including Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen and Super Trouper.
"Of course it's something we're thinking about," Faltskog, 63, told Welt am Sonntag.
"There seem to be plans to do something to mark this anniversary in some way. But I can't say at this point what will come of them," she said.
Abba was formed in Sweden in 1972 by Faltskog with Bjorn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. Their Eurovision success came in England two years later.
The band sold more than 380 million records worldwide. Their last album appeared in 1982,
