Western Australian Premier Colin Barnett says farmers around the country are still waiting for details of a $A60 million assistance package from the federal government.
AAP reports the WA government has approved more than $2 million in emergency aid since April.
But Mr Barnett said states and territories were still waiting for the fine print in the Commonwealth's $60 million loans package.
He told the state parliament that since federal agriculture minister Joe Ludwig announced the loans six weeks ago, details of interest rates and who would be responsible for any bad debts had been slow to come from Canberra.
AAP reports Queensland, New South Wales, WA, Victoria and the Northern Territory last weekend combined to pressure Senator Ludwig to agree to fund the administration costs of the Commonwealth concessional loans.
