An Indian runner, believed to be the world's oldest distance runner at 101 years old, has retired after completing his last race in Hong Kong.
Fauja Singh finished the 10km run at the Hong Kong marathon in one hour, 32 minutes and 28 seconds - half a minute faster than at the same event last year.
Earlier in the day, he said: "I am feeling a bit of happiness and a bit of sadness mixed together.
"I am happy that I am retiring at the top of the game but I am sad that the time has come for me to not be part of it."
Singh, who was a farmer in his home state of Punjab before settling in England in the 1960s, began running at the age of 89 and completed nine marathons.
His best time for the 42km distance was five hours and 40 minutes at the 2003 Toronto marathon.
