Journalists at the British Broadcasting Corporation are planning to strike for a day next Monday over job cuts.
The National Union of Journalists says they will also stage a work-to-rule from Friday, unless the corporationstops compulsory redundancies.
The redundancies are part of a programme to cut 2000 jobs over five years.
