The Ministry of Home Affairs and Transport in the Seychelles, east of Africa, says the New Zealander killed in a boating accident was Rebecca Davidson.
The ministry says she was a 35-year-old reporter for Dubai Eye Radio.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in New Zealand says her next of kin have been advised of the death.
