The trial in India of five men accused of gang-raping a woman on a bus in Delhi, has been transferred to a fast track court.
The woman died from her injuries.
Defence lawyers said the case will begin on Monday. One is to file a petition seeking a transfer of the case from Delhi.
A sixth suspect, who is thought to be 17, will be tried separately in a youth court if it is confirmed he is a minor.
If convicted, the men could face the death penalty.
The victim, 23, a physiotherapy student who cannot be named in India for legal reasons, and a male friend were attacked on a bus in south Delhi on 16 December.
She died two weeks later in hospital in Singapore.
