Six men have been arrested in northern India in connection with another case of the gang-rape of a bus passenger.
Police in Punjab state say a 29-year-old woman, who was the sole passenger, was heading home to her village, but the driver and conductor refused to stop there.
The police say they took her instead to a desolate location where five others joined them in repeatedly raping her.
Protests are continuing in India over the gang-rape and murder of a 23-year-old physiotherapy student on a bus in the capital, Delhi, last month.
The mass protests prompted the government to set up special fast-track courts to exclusively deal with rape cases and also consider strengthening sexual assault laws.
