Afghan security forces have killed five men suspected of planning to attack targets in the capital, Kabul.
Officials say they died in a battle at a house on the eastern outskirts of the city.
Three vehicles packed with explosives are said to have been found at the scene, along with weapons and suicide vests.
The BBC says the Taliban has rejected the report, saying the Afghan forces staged the fight for propaganda purposes.
