Researchers in Norway say the hallucinogenic drug LSD might help alcoholics give up drinking.
The scientists re-examined data from a series of six studies carried out in the 1960s.
All the alcoholics were given a standard therapy, but some were also given a single dose of LSD.
And the test data showed that with these, the success rate for the treatment rose from 38% to almost 60%.
