Fijian-born Prabodh Kumar Mishra's memories are like a trip through history: During his first career in Fiji's Foreign Affairs he met the Queen and was told by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, that kava was “foul, muddy stuff”; During Fiji's 1987 coup, he helped the overthrown prime minister’s private secretary give coup leader Sitiveni Rabuka the slip; And after fleeing the country over threats to his family, he had to build a new life from scratch in New Zealand.

In this new short film, by his son Rajeev Mishra for Wireless Docs, he recounts his adventures and the highs and lows of his life.
