On the dial: labour, drugs and princesses

8:39 am on 19 November 2014

This week, we’re launching The Wireless’ first podcast, On The Dial. It’ll look at what is happening in news and current events, and hear from people doing interesting things around the country.

It’s hosted by senior producer, Megan Whelan, and we’ll be featuring a pool of contributors. This week, we hear from two people with strong opinions on the Government’s changes to employment laws, find out what’s so wrong with driving while stoned, and speak to the star of one of the most meme-worthy films of all time, The Princess Bride.

Next week, we’ll be at a march against rape culture, and we’ll hear from performer Amanda Palmer.

On the dial was produced by Megan Whelan, with technical production by Steve Burridge, and assistance from Marcus Stickley, Elle Hunt and Charlotte Graham.

Our music was composed and performed by Eddie Johnston, and the cover image was made by Hadley Donaldson

If you’d like to subscribe to On The Dial, here’s the RSS, and it is also available on iTunes
