Green candidate makes sense of politics

The Green Party candidate in Tamaki Makaurau says she can help make sense of politics for everyday whanau.

The former advisor at the Human Rights Commission made her debut in politics when she stood and came third in last year's Ikaroa-Rawhiti by-election.

Ms Davidson is on the Green Party list at number 15.

She said her campaign will focus on securing the party vote and she wants to help Maori have a progressive voice in politics.

Ms Davidson said people have appreciated the way she can untangle the mess that is politics for everyday families, who are struggling to put bread and milk on the table.
