Te Matatini has unveiled its revamped logo, which shows a modernised huia bird, with a new colour scheme.
Its chairman Selwyn Parata says the brand had to grow with the organisation, which is no longer just about a biennial competition.
He says a number of school children are involved in kapa haka competitions, and kapa-theatre has also developed.
Mr Parata says the new logo incorporates the way Te Matatini has expanded around the country, and internationally - making it a home for kapa haka.
