7:39 pm on 16 April 2013

A deal has been signed that will result in Lincoln University training more members of Ngai Tahu in agricultural skills.

Whenua Kura is a joint initiative that was signed on Tuesday by Ngai Tahu Property, Lincoln University and Te Tapuae o Rehua, a group promoting Maori achievement in education.

The kaihautu for Te Tapuae o Rehua, Catherine Savage, says the agreement is designed to build an educated workforce that supports Maori leadership and agribusiness.
