Two Maori radio stations on the East Coast of the North Island have been named finalists in this year's New Zealand Radio Awards' Best Reo Maori broadcast category.
The awards cover several categories including best new broadcaster, best spoken programmes and best radio website.
Three finalists are vying for best Maori language broadcast.
They are Te Kuiti based station, Te Reo Irirangi o Maniapoto and two East Coast stations, Radio Ngati Porou and Te Reo Irirangi o Turanganui a Kiwa.
The winners for the New Zealand Radio Awards will be announced on 16 May.
