The funeral service for Ngati Tuwharetoa leader Timi te Heuheu will be held on Monday.
Mr te Heuheu was brother to the paramount chief Tumu te Heuheu and husband to former Cabinet Minister, Georgina te Heuheu.
He died on Thursday at the age of 67.
He'll be buried at Waihi Pa on the southern shores of Lake Taupo at 11am.
