New Zealand's top tennis player Marina Erakovic has won her opening match at the WTA tournament in Bogota.
Erakovic and her Swiss opponent Stefanie Voegele completed only one match before rain washed out Wednesday's programme, but the top seed completed a straight sets win this morning 6-3 6-4.
Her second round opponent at the 260-thousand dollar tournament will be Edina Gallovits-Hall from Romania.
A good result in Colombia could move Erakovic inside the world's top fifty.
