The defending champion at the Heineken tennis Open David Ferrer will be on centre court today - but only to finish his rain-affected opening doubles match with Spainish partner Albert Montanes.
The match is scheduled for late in the afternoon on the back courts, and it's likely to be a short finish with top seeded Austrian combination Oliver Marach and Alexander Paya well on top at 6-2 5-2 up.
Ferrer, the top seed, has another day off in the singles before the seeds come out to play tomorrow.
On Tuesday evening New Zealand wildcard Michael Venus was defeated by Colombia's Santiago Giraldo in straight sets.
